Podiatrist Dr. Emanuel Sergi

Emanuel Sergi, DPM, is a podiatric surgeon who specializes in the functional and cosmetic treatment of a wide range of foot conditions. After completing his undergraduate work at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Sergi earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. After graduating from medical school in June 2004, Dr. Sergi completed a two year primary podiatric medical and surgical residency at NYU Downtown Hospital. During his residency, Dr. Sergi trained extensively in the treatment of diabetic wounds at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City. Upon the completion of his residency, he spent two years training and perfecting cosmetic foot surgery techniques.

Dr. Sergi is dedicated to remaining on the forefront of the latest advances in surgical techniques. He is the sole developer and practitioner of Slimline Bunion Surgery™, an innovative approach to bunion removal that provides patients with optimal functional and cosmetic post-surgical outcomes.

In addition to his private practices located in New York City, and Brooklyn, Dr. Sergi is currently an attending physician at NYU Downtown Hospital and Gramercy Park Surgical Center. He is an extremely caring doctor who strives to develop a good rapport with his patients.
